چکیده
Objectives: The study was aimed to evaluate the roles of Lactobacillus acidophilus supplementation in maintaining intestinal epithelial integrities, tight junction proteins, and adhesion molecules non-specific diarrhea.
Methods: In this study, we used pre-weaned BL/6 pups (3 weeks age, same litters) as a model animal. We supplied non-sterilized poor-quality water experimental (n=7) develop diarrheic symptoms. Then were supplemented with (LA) for three consecutive weeks. control group (n=5) sterilized no LA. sampling analysis performed on day 0, 7, 14, 21. expressions pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-6, TNF-a) proteins (TJPs) gut mucosa determined using qRT-PCR. And serum level screened through sandwich ELISA.
Results: cytoskeletal integrity becomes disrupted characterized by lower ZO-1, Occludin, Claudin-1, Claudin-5, JAM mRNA upon real-time However, Claudin-4 found be not affected illustrated higher expression like pups. Interestingly, supplementing maintain effectively reduce Like pups, exhibited TJPs molecules. Moreover, diseased produced significantly increased IL-6, TNF-α production blood serum, compared
Conclusion: concluded that L. might orchestrate equilibrium health immunity against diarrhea.

Dietary Lactobacillus acidophilus positively influences growth performance, gut morphology, and gut microbiology in rurally reared chickens
In a market undergoing constant evolution, the production of chicken meat that consumers would perceive as "natural" and "animal friendly" is crucial. The use of probiotics in rurally reared chickens could represent a major opportunity to achieve mutual benefit for both the industry and consumers. A total of 264 male Kabir chicks were randomly distributed to one of 2 dietary treatments: the L g...
متن کاملTailoring gut immune responses with lipoteichoic acid-deficient Lactobacillus acidophilus
As highlighted by the development of intestinal autoinflammatory disorders when tolerance is lost, homeostatic interactions between gut microbiota, resident immune cells, and the gut epithelium are key in the maintenance of gastrointestinal health. Gut immune responses, whether stimulatory or regulatory, are dictated by the activated dendritic cells (DCs) that first interact with microorganisms...
متن کاملLactobacillus casei Shirota Supplementation Does Not Restore Gut Microbiota Composition and Gut Barrier in Metabolic Syndrome: A Randomized Pilot Study
UNLABELLED Metabolic syndrome is associated with disturbances in gut microbiota composition. We aimed to investigate the effect of Lactobacillus casei Shirota (LcS) on gut microbiota composition, gut barrier integrity, intestinal inflammation and serum bile acid profile in metabolic syndrome. In a single-centre, prospective, randomised controlled pilot study, 28 subjects with metabolic syndrome...
متن کاملEffects of Lactobacillus johnsonii and Lactobacillus reuteri on gut barrier function and heat shock proteins in intestinal porcine epithelial cells
Heat shock proteins (HSPs) are a set of highly conserved proteins that can serve as intestinal gate keepers in gut homeostasis. Here, effects of a probiotic, Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (LGG), and two novel porcine isolates, Lactobacillus johnsonii strain P47-HY and Lactobacillus reuteri strain P43-HUV, on cytoprotective HSP expression and gut barrier function, were investigated in a porcine IPE...
